SHIFTING FOCUS IS KEY

In the current economic climate, focus and intention is key.  Though difficult at times, it is important to focus on the positive, learn from our challenges and move forward with purpose.

In business, we need to center our attention on ways to accomplish more with less... to focus on core strengths, optimize resources, streamline delivery, and look for the value in all of our endeavors.

As I look back on the last few years, I am most proud of those who have helped to make RW3 the company it is today.  We are fortunate to work with some of the best clients in the world (literally!), and a team with such integrity, resourcefulness and dedication, that together, I know we can accomplish our highest goals.

RW3 is working harder than ever to discover ways to help you achieve incremental ROI, while making the process as cost effective as possible.  Your success is important to us and is the tenet upon which this company was founded.

Working together with you, our partners and customers, we anticipate making great strides this year.

Best to you all,

RW3 has pledged to make a difference for the future by participating in several “green” focused initiatives in our Austin community.  First, we are working with the Texas State SIFE Team (Students in Free Enterprise) and in conjunction with Sam’s Club on a sustainability program to reduce consumable materials in our office.  Whether discontinuing use or switching to consumables made from recycled materials, we hope to exchange 20% of our consumable goods (paper, paper plates, coffee cups, etc.) for recyclable options.

Secondly, we are working with SIFE and Dell Computers to recycle our computers and electronic waste.  Shane Painter, Director of IT, is coordinating the items that SIFE will pick up and recycle.

Last but certainly not least, RW3 employees  donated their time to work with the SIFE team on an environmentally friendly project to plant 100 trees in a local park in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint.  We had 26 people strong joining the “Trees for Pease” effort and will all help to make a difference.

PLAN NOW TO JOIN US FOR EPG 2009

RW3 offers many ways to maximize value to our prospects and customers.  From the InStore perspective, we have a wealth of proven retail execution solutions for online web, and offline Windows Mobile and Laptop/Tablet PCs that can be initiated quickly, with very minimal up-front investment.  This brings recognizable value by providing an immediate solution to improve efficiency at retail, with relatively low cost and risk.

Business On the Road

Directors Cal Closson (SVP), Mark Gruetzner (Engineering) and Shane Painter (IT) attended Gartner’s Wireless & Mobile Summit in Chicago in February.  Through various analyst sessions, our team came away with valuable information about emerging mobile and wireless technologies, strategies for aligning enterprise architecture with new mobile applications, and discerning the staying power of current trends in order to plan for the future.  In addition, each gained important perspectives into areas where RW3 already supports its customers, and other areas in which our IT and Development teams are making strides to continually introduce new offerings and cost savings to our clientele.

“Clearly, mobile devices are rapidly becoming the central hub of our daily work and social lives. This fact, combined with the almost ubiquitous wireless data networks we have available to us, opens up enormous opportunities to positively affect the bottom line. By delivering timely, actionable data to workers on the ground and in store, we are able to increase the effectiveness and knowledge of those most poised to turn decisions and actions into dollars.”        - Shane Painter, Director IT
