The 4th quarter of 2009 and the start of 2010 has been as busy a period for us as we have seen in the past 3 years. Clients have requested us to move forward on projects to either enhance their instore applications, create new report deliverables, or facilitate entirely new ways to approach the marketplace. We are excited to tackle the challenge of getting these projects developed and online as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support! In regard to industry acknowledgement, RW3 was again honored by Gartner with a “Positive” rating in their December 2009 MarketScope for Sales Force Automation. We take immeasurable pride in our Team and our solutions, and are pleased to be recognized by such a well-respected research entity for our efforts. One of the things the report mentions is our unprecedented client retention – which most of you know, develops over time as we strive to help our customers continually enhance & expand their solutions for better ROI. This quarter will also be busy with preparations for our annual Executive Peer Group. Many of our clients have made great strides over the last 18 months and we look forward to sharing some of their insights. We have an exciting line-up of speakers and it is not too late to reserve your seat! EPG will take place in Austin on March 23-24. My wishes to all for a successful year, both personally and professionally.

Many of RW3’s 50 employees answered the call to send help to those suffering untenable conditions in Haiti in the wake of the recent earthquake and subsequent aftershocks. Team members from all departments rallied, and checks payable to the American Red Cross began pouring in.
As of this printing, employees have donated over $1070 to the relief effort. RW3 corporate began with $2500, and will match the employee contribution, for a Team grand total of $4640. Well done!
RW3 may be small in numbers, but its huge collective heart knows no bounds!

Employee Spotlight: James Marrs James Marrs joined RW3 in 2000 as a software development intern, while pursuing a second Bachelor's in Computer Science from University of Texas (where he previously earned a Bachelor’s in Molecular Biology). As an intern, James worked on most of RW3’s core technologies and client systems. In 2004, James helped oversee design, construction, and rollout of the NROC system and was soon promoted to manager of a dedicated Nestlé development, support, and reporting team. As manager, his responsibilities also encompassed projects which were outsourced to teams in India and Russia, as well as design and construction of new systems for two additional divisions of Nestlé (NPPC and EMD). By 2006, James had revived the RW3 software internship program, helping identify talented new employees, and spent a few years alongside RW3’s Engineering and Development teams working to optimize development processes, restructure the development team, and adopt Agile Development principles – eventually becoming manager of Software Development and SWAT in early 2009. SVP, Cal Closson, represented RW3 at the World Business Forum in New York - the largest business event in the US - featuring speakers such as President Bill Clinton, Jack Welch and George Lucas among other notables. CEO Bruce Nagle attended the annual NACS Show (National Association of Convenience Stores). NACS serves the convenience and petroleum retailing industry and RW3 was there for edification as well as to touch base with customers in attendance. In addition, Bruce, along with Business Development Manager, Jason Reynolds, held several successful meetings at the GMA Merchandising, Sales & Marketing Conference in November, before traveling to attend the SIFE Partner Summit (Students in Free Enterprise). SIFE Partner Summits bring together members of the SIFE Board of Directors and partner companies to strategize the growth of the organization.
